About Moose Brook State Park

Moose Brook State Park, nestled in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, is a well-designed park that covers 774 acres of lush, mountainous terrain. The park was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps or CCC, a work program created as part of FDR's "New Deal" legislation. The CCC constructed park facilities such as cabins, campgrounds, a bathhouse and a network of trails using the natural resources found on the surrounding land.

Facilities and operating schedule

The park has many facilities to help make the most of any visit, the most popular of which are the campground sites that dot the area. 59 individual campsites draw nature enthusiasts to the park, providing ample room for visitors to erect tents and settle in to camp. Some sites are wooded and remote, while others are in open areas. There are no hook-ups for recreational vehicles, but campers and recreational vehicles are welcome in suitable areas. The park is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.
