Echo Lake State Park

Take a swim or enjoy a relaxed afternoon picnic when you visit Echo Lake State Park. This beautiful park is located in Conway, New Hampshire and is the perfect place to bring family and friends. Scenic trails wrap around Echo Lake and are great for biking or walking.
Water-related attractions
One of the most common attractions at the park is the swimming beach on the shore of the lake. This area is staffed during the summer months and is also a favorite with children. Adults can entertain themselves in canoes or small boats, as there is also a well-maintained launch station. Fishing is also permitted in certain areas, and fish caught in the lake are considered safe to eat. Licenses are needed in order to fish.
Rock climbing
The avid climber can also enjoy a day at this park. Cathedral Ledge and White Horse Ledge are located nearby and offer rock and ice climbing. Hiking trails lead to the top of Cathedral Ledge, so climbers have several options when it comes to ascending the peak.
Amenities
The park staff does their best to maintain public restrooms on the property. Some of these are closed during the off-season when the park is unstaffed, but those in busy areas remain open. There is a small fee for admission to the park, and regular visitors are given the option of purchasing a season pass.
Take a hike or a swim at Echo Lake State Park. Whether you are young, old or somewhere in between, a great time is guaranteed.
